HR Talks Paris: HR’s role in a changing business environment
Financial Times | IE Business School Corporate Learning Alliance hosted a HR Talks session at the Hotel Marignan Champs-Elysées in Paris offering chance for HR executives to share their experience, knowledge and thoughts with peers and industry experts.
The roundtable was moderated by Malcolm Moore UK News Editor, Financial Times and Dr Daniel Corsten professor of Operations & Technology Management at IE Business School.
Malcolm Moore, UK News Editor, FT
Malcolm has been in charge of UK News at the Financial Times since March 2016, and has been responsible for coverage of Brexit, the British economy and politics. Before joining the FT, he was the deputy head of World News at the Telegraph Media Group and a long-time foreign correspondent in Italy and China. He opened the Telegraph’s Shanghai bureau in 2008 before moving to Beijing. He won the 2012 Foreign Press Association award for news story of the year for his coverage of riots in Wukan, south China.
Dr Daniel Corsten, Professor of Operations & Technology Management at IE Business School
Dr. Daniel Corsten is Professor of Operations & Technology Management at IE Business School (IE University) in Madrid. He received his PhD in Marketing from University of St. Gallen. His research appeared in Management Science, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Marketing and Journal of Operations Management, in managerial journals such as Harvard Business Review and the International Commerce Review. He has consulted and researched with Fortune 500 companies such as ABB, Agentrics, BASF, Bayer, Brammer, Danone, Microsoft, Nestle, Procter & Gamble, UBS and Unilever.
