What is the difference between human capital and humane capital? Human capital is about the skills and the knowledge that employees or people will have in an organization as well as their cost - a replenishable resource, or a cost. Humane capital is about seeing people as sources of value creation grounded in human approaches, and humane values with a focus on people's purpose compassion, and collaboration.
Why is it critical to focus on purpose and collaboration? Evidence shows that companies that just focus on profit maximization neglecting people, cannot sustain their performance on a long-term basis.
